I had an uneventful pregnancy...

I saw my Dr. for our 34 week check up and everything was looking good, that was on a friday.
On sunday, I was having pains (not contractions) the pain got worse at night and I decided to sit up and go into the hospital to make sure everything was alright.
I sat up and felt a large gush.

In a panic, I woke my husband up and told him I had thought my water had broke.
I looked down, only to realize I was sitting in a large pool of blood.
My husband called 911.
The medics came to our house and took me to the hospital.
At the hospital they found no heartbeat.
My Dr. decided to do an emergency c-section. . .
Jack was born sleeping.

We lost our son due to undiagnosed Vasa Previa - velamentous cord insertion.
